IEEE MetroLivEnv 2023 will have the following awards, which will be announced and bestowed at the Award Ceremony.
BEST CONFERENCE PAPER AWARD "Prof. Domenico Grimaldi"
The Best Conference Paper Award is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Domenico Grimaldi, whose passion, enthusiasm, and commitment for science will be of inspiration for all the recipients of this prize.
This award recognizes the most outstanding paper presented at IEEE MetroLivEnv 2023.
The Best Conference Paper Award is sponsored by ALMA Software.
The author of the awarded paper, and co-authors if any, will be entitled to:
- A prize money amounting to 500 EUR;
- A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
- The announcement of the achievement on a special conference webpage.
Basis for Judging: A selection committee will be appointed by the Awards Committee Chairs. Papers are judged based on technical merit, originality, potential impact on the field, clarity of the written paper, and quality of the conference presentation.
Presentation: The award will be announced and presented at the Award Ceremony.
BEST CONFERENCE PAPER AWARD - 2nd AND 3rd CLASSIFIED
This award recognizes the most outstanding papers - 2ndand 3rd classified - presented at IEEE MetroLivEnv 2023.
The Award is sponsored by MDPI Buildings Journal.
The author of the awarded paper, and co-authors if any, will be entitled to:
- A prize money amounting to 300 CHF (Second Classified) and 200 CHF (Third Classified);
- A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
- The announcement of the achievement on a special conference webpage.
Basis for Judging: A selection committee will be appointed by the Awards Committee Chairs. Papers are judged based on technical merit, originality, potential impact on the field, clarity of the written paper, and quality of the conference presentation.

BEST PAPER PRESENTED BY A YOUNG RESEARCHER
This award recognizes the best paper authored and presented by a researcher younger than 35 years in age.
The Best Conference Paper Award is sponsored by MDPI Sensors Journal.
The author of the awarded paper, and co-authors if any, will be entitled to:
- A prize money amounting to 600 CHF;
- A signed and stamped official Award Certificate;
- The announcement of the achievement on a special conference webpage.
